Antique quilts from the Latimer Collection, along with contemporary and art quilts, are displayed in this room. A bank of glass-covered drawers containing mini exhibits of antique sewing notions, cigar silks, buttons and pins line one wall. The East Room also serves as Latimer’s meeting space, where textile related groups and guilds can come together. Any group with a membership in the Latimer Center can use this space free of charge.
